Introduction
Superteam Brasil is a community dedicated to strengthening the Solana ecosystem in Brazil. This document describes how we collect, use, and protect the data of visitors to our website br.superteam.fun and superteam.com.br, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law nº 13.709/2018).
Data We Collect
We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used. Neither of these tools collects personally identifiable information.
Umami Analytics
A privacy-focused analytics tool. It collects:
- Page views and pages visited
- Referral URL (where the visitor came from)
- Browser and operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Country of origin (no precise geolocation)
Umami does not use cookies, does not track IP addresses, and does not collect personally identifiable data.
Hotjar
A behavior analysis tool. It collects:
- Click and scroll heatmaps
- Session recordings (anonymized)
- Scroll depth
- Navigation and interaction patterns
Hotjar automatically anonymizes sensitive data and does not capture form information or personal data.
Geolocation-Based Language Detection
When you first visit our website, we use your approximate geographic location (provided by our hosting provider's infrastructure headers) to determine which language to display. This detection uses only the country-level location derived from your IP address — no precise coordinates, city, or street-level data is processed.
- The detected country code (e.g., "BR", "US") is used solely to select a display language (Portuguese, English, or Spanish).
- No geolocation data is stored on our servers or transmitted to third parties.
- A cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) stores your language preference after the first visit, so geolocation detection is not repeated.
- You can change your language at any time using the language switcher in the site header.
This processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX of LGPD) as it serves only to improve usability by presenting content in a language appropriate to the visitor's region.
Legal Basis (LGPD)
The processing of collected data is based on the data subject's consent (Art. 7, I of LGPD), obtained through the cookie banner displayed on first visit. Analytics scripts are loaded only after the visitor's explicit consent.
If the visitor chooses not to consent (by clicking "Don't show again"), no analytics scripts will be loaded and no data will be collected.
Your Rights
In compliance with LGPD, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Confirmation & access — know whether we process your data and access it
- Correction — request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of data processed based on consent
- Revocation of consent — withdraw your consent at any time by clearing browser data or contacting us
- Objection — object to data processing when there is no consent
